Inspired by the shifting, iridescent plumage of a starling, Pillar — Starling transforms the signature Pillar clutch into a one-of-one piece of functional art.
Painted entirely by hand, expressive feather-like strokes rise across the black leather in layers of turquoise, cobalt, violet, emerald, rust, ochre and flashes of ivory. The composition moves organically around the embossed H motif, allowing the original leather to remain visible and become part of the artwork itself.
No two marks are identical. No second Starling will be exactly the same.
Finished with the Pillar’s sculptural gold-tone kiss-lock frame and signature red XO•HR embroidery.
